Do you mean how could they mute all the distubing orientalism of The Horse and His Boy without losing the plot? Yeah, I've wondered about that; as much as I love that book in some ways, it does make me cringe in other ways.

But I agree that LWW, PC, VDT, and SC would all film fairly well; the other three not so much. Yet if they make money on the others, I'm sure they'll try!
