Oh no, what a pain! Did you get in before the year ended?

It took my years but at least things are going all right for me; I wish you lot of work and fun in 2012 too.

So glad to hear that things are going better for you - did you find a job that you liked?

Yes I got in before the New Year, but bit scratched, dirty, anxious and tired. Not good party material at all so I ditched plans and stayed in with Treacle (the cat). Didn't mind that much to be honest, I finished the new Terry Pratchett book then watched Deathly Hallows part 2 followed by a Jonathon Creek Christmas special. I probably got the best of it from what I later heard of the intended party.

It's a great job apart from the location (up a hill with no carparks so I have to pay for one in the business area): friendly, fun people, great environment (top-notch tech, next to a park, desk with a view). I don't mind going back on Monday at all!
