Okay, so yesterday I told fallenwitch and black_alnair I'd be taking a break from the internet -

Ewww. I have to agree with you - Lucius Malfoy wouldn't hit that with a baseball bat. And what's with her hair? It's two colors. It looks like she hasn't had her roots done or something. Ick. I'm sorry, but they've portrayed Lucius as very handsome and well-dressed in the movies so far. Why the hell would they make his wife some frumpy housewife? Nein. NEIN, I say.

I know! It's horrible. I was/am a huge Lucius/Narcissa shipper, but this is seriously putting me off.

Oh my, I don't think he would touch it with a ten foot pole. AND her shoes are ugly! Why didn't they get Naomi? HM looks like McGonagell.

Ever since I heard they kept Yates on for the rest of the films, it was over for me. But in any case, I agree, at least my HP obsession has sunseted because I would've been far more upset about this.

Oh, good job with the diet. I'm only a few pounds away from being back at my pre-firm rate but I've been eating a lot of candy lately, despite an even bigger concern than weight: gum disease. I have a surgical dental procedure tomorrow regarding them...

I think if I still cared about this movie at this point, I'd be working myself into a massive froth right now. I refuse to let it alter my enjoyment of my favorite ship in any way, but that could be because my mind's eye has always had a Makani-esque visual of both of them anyhow.

That said? It's still a big world of HELL NO to the casting director/costumer in me. That's their idea of long blonde hair that gives the appearance of a drowned person? Like it would have been so hard for them to nab a Galadriel-like wig.

... Okay, I'm slightly more frothy than my initial dismissiveness indicated. :/
