I was browsing in the Christmas store, everything on sale 75% off and found, to my delight, miniature Christmas stockings. I have been looking for miniature stockings for a while, because I want to use them for Twelfth Night. I bought them and put my plan into effect

According to this, it's the eve of Epiphany, i.e., January 5.
