Twelfth night scones

Tomorrow is Twelfth Night, the last of the twelve days of Christmas, and in our household, we celebrate it by having a Twelfth Night breakfast with special scones and cocoa for breakfast. I tried this recipe (with one variation: I left out the chocolate chips).

It was delicious! Thank you for sharing it!

One question: Step #1 says "stir together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt." Yet there is no salt listed in the ingredients. How much salt is one supposed to add here?

Oops, good catch. There was supposed to be a notation "1/4 tsp. salt" in the ingredient list, right after the baking soda. My bad.

I'm glad you enjoyed the scones. We really love them, too.
