May Day, after several yucky years in a row, was beautiful and magical and just what I needed. Fiona and I went and basked in the sun and admired the puppets, the dancers, the stiltwalkers, and human-powered floats. I love that all sorts of people, all ages, all ability levels, participate. Someday, someday, I will get there to see it in person. I am SO glad, though, that you and Fiona went to see it, and that you had fun; I was worried that with everything else going on, you hadn't been able to or had the energy.

I find myself very curious about the costume that looks like a giant ear and nothing else. Do you know what that's about? And why DOES the band lie down on the street? I love the percussionist who had his instruments affixed to his wheelchair. :D
