Pictures!

Once we received the cancer diagnosis, I immediately decided that we had to have pictures taken. I wanted to have a family portrait done for the Christmas card, but Fiona would be overseas, and Rob will be losing all his hair. We decided to get all our family portraits done in one fell swoop: birthday portraits for the girls, and an anniversary

Gorgeous photos! I especially love the last one of the two girls together, and the "Surprise photo" :)

BTW: you've totally inspired our anniversary photo this year. This is our 10 year anniversary, and I still remember you telling us about your tradition for your 20th wedding anniversary... so that's what we'll be doing ;) Lars thinks it's a tad silly (or rather "a very girly thing"), but figured it was no skin off his nose to humor me ;)

Ooh, I'm so glad you're doing it! We've gotten such pleasure out of ours. When's your anniversary--when are you having it done?

Also, a tip: order a BIG copy of the picture. I think ours is something like 10 inches by 14 inches? Or 11 by 17. That way it'll be more visible when you take future versions of the picture.

These are all lovely. The Surprise one cracked me up AND brought tears to my eyes, so really I think you did it just right.
