I am sorry.

Why are you apologising? I admire you for being as honest as you feel you can be publicly. What I also admire is that you have continued to do things like karate and achieved so much in spite of your personal and physical issues. I can tell that you are struggling more now, but I see your tenacity too. I hope that there are people closer to you who can identify even more things to demonstrate that spirit. I'm not trying to give you some platitude, I just want you to know what my perception from the outside is.

You said what I was trying to articulate and more gracefully than I could.

I don't know if I'm right about the relationship you've lost...I notice the absence of a name, but I could be entirely wrong, and...I know that as much as I look forward to reading the things you share from your life, I am not one of your intimates (nor clamoring to be!)

The reasons I read your entries now are not the same as when I first started following your story. But I'm not here for a happy ending, as much as I want that for *your* sake.

You inspire me on those days when my own burden looms large and endless. I wish there was something I could do to ease yours.

I wish I could offer more than sympathy, but I know what it's like to keep going, and to know that you have to keep going, for yourself as well as your family. It's hard.

Don't apologize. We are your friends, not your judges.

I know it's hard to know whether another path in life would be better but - if you feel you have honestly given it your all and nothing is different, then maybe a change is necessary.

Pity the Serenity Prayer is easier said than done. :-P *hugs*

This! We're here for the long haul - hoping it'll be a short treck for your sake, but with you all the way no matter what. Goodness knows you're not doing this because you like the desert, and it's my experience that the desert is where you need friends the most.

So we're here.
