"You should've seen him the first time he's been through it! "
Said Changmin breaking the whole audience into a shattering laughter.
"Well that was one hell of an experience!"
I seconded him and put my hand around him.
I signalled for another drink while Changmin continued on his gag on me. It was my dad who organised this country house party for me and I didn't forget to invite all of my best buddies to have loads of fun with us tonight.
"Seems like the party's going really well. "
I was startled by the sudden deep voice and looking up I found him, the surprising as always, Park Yoochun!
"And here I thought it was My bachelor party. "
I commented to myself. Doesn't he have anything to do without bothering me?
"Ah no, it's Our bachelor party I think, that's why your dad invited me."
Said Yoochun mockingly while getting himself seated in the sofa in front of us. It was surprising to find him joking around, did he hit his head or something?
"Yoochun? Is he the same Yoochun you're gonna get married to? "
It was Changmin this time. Oh well, I forgot his presence at all. I saw Yoochun giving a serious look at Changmin trying to remember him and knew it was too late to hide them from each other now.
I nodded my head and looked away.
"How come you know me, have we met before? "
I heard Yoochun questioning Changmin.
"Jaejoong's friend right, I knew him back at college."
I could here Changmin's tone changing when talking about Jaejoong, it's been years since he last pronounced that name; and all that ghosts will come haunting now thanks to Yoochun!
"Oh you were there too? Then that's why you look-"
"Familiar? Can we come back to the party now if your reminiscing part is over! "
I jumped into their conversation and stopped Yoochun mid sentenced, I can't let them dig their past knowing the final result which was to come.
Changmin understood me at once and kept his mouth shut without spilling anymore. I was going to signal for another drink when two people suddenly appeared from out of nowhere.
"Think we're not late."
"Just in time! "
Exclaimed Yoochun signalling Jaejoong and his friend to sit with us already. Alright, another trouble here!
"Junsu-ah I want you to meet Jaejoong. He has helped us a lot in our wedding planning and bookings."
Said Yoochun introducing us to each other properly this time.
"That's no big deal,"
Stated Jaejoong giving me a handshake but paused at once suddenly realising something.
"Changmin it's you! after a long time buddy."
Jaejoong exclaimed happily and stretched his hand for a handshake which was soon followed by a welcoming hug.
"You know him? "
Yoochun asked referring to Changmin while I took my time taking a quick glance at Yoochun for the first time.
"Of course, can't you remember he was in the same faculty as Leena's; right next to ours."
After a little catch up between Jaejoong and Changmin we again got into our party mood just as the next round of drinks were served.
In the meantime I went into the kitchen to see how the food was going on and didn't know that Changmin was too following me in there.
"So is this how the things going on? "
I turned around and faced him.
".. I still say you can finish this in a way you both won't get to regret. "
"Why, since he's suddenly become your colleague? "
I asked.
"Maybe, Junsu-ah you know that in future I won't be able to stay by your side like always, you can't risk-"
"Enough! I've already heard too much of it, told you it's just for a little time! "
I was about to leave but Changmin caught my hand and pushed me to the wall avoiding me from walking away.
"Alright if you think having this marriage is the best option you have, then go for it. But never miss it when I ask you, you know what I mean.. I'm not asking you I'm warning you."
I looked into Changmin's eyes. I knew I was troubling him a lot with my stubborn decisions.
"Junsu! "
Changmin and I both startled hearing a third voice. It was Yoochun, he was staring at us and he was angry; I could say that.
Changmin left us at once while Yoochun came near me and caught my hand.
".. We need to talk."
He pulled me towards the balcony with him and I started thinking about what Changmin told me just now. Will it get worse like before, if so how am I suppose to live without him? And I knew, Changmin will let me do anything but this.
"Junsu, what do you think you're doing? It's our wedding in a few days, stop these nonsense at least now! "
I looked at Yoochun angrily. He's the reason for all these madnesses. I kept quiet.
".. Junsu you're still mad with me for what happened at the mall?"
His voice softened at once. Who gave him permission to touch me like this anyway? I frowned at his hand which was still clinging on mine.
"Are you kidding with me Yoochun? You know well I don't give a damn about your mind swings. "
"But I do.. I really do Junsu. I do want to apologise for shouting at you that time. I was a bit angry, I'm so sorry. "
"If you're really sorry then keep yourself away from me at least till we marry. "
I started to go inside leaving Yoochun there alone.
"You know him via Changmin right? Jaejoong.. you recognised him because Changmin had told you about him before."
I stopped in my path and turned around.
"Jaejoong was once his crush, I've seen him in photographs, Changmin had showed me. "
I said accusingly. It was Jaejoong's sole fault for making Changmin's life miserable those days.
"I.. didn't know about it. Does Jaejoong know.."
Yoochun sounded apologetic behalf of his friend.
"No, they were fine until someone else came into their lives.. I think you know better. "
"Yeah Yunho was the only one he had since I know him. You can't actually blame on him either, they're meant for each other you see. But I'm actually sorry about your friend Junsu.."
"Don't be Yoochun. It's been long since he got over Jaejoong and I'm actually happy about him.. Happy that he finally realised it's useless to run after a one sided love that won't ever belong to him. "
I said looking straight at Yoochun. I knew he got my message as soon as his face began to change. I thought of putting some hay onto the fire.
".. It's tragic isn't it, to have finally realised how wrong he was to yearn for something that doesn't belong to him? "
Yoochun didn't say anything but just looked me in the eye and waited till I finish.
".. Get that into your mind too Yoochun, will be useful to you in the future."
I said going away from the balcony but had to stop when Yoochun caught on my hand again gently.
"Maybe it was just about time Junsu, time could have changed everything.. And still it can change anything in the future too.. "
I smirked hearing Yoochun's answer. He's really having hopes on a useless thing.
"Not a chance Yoochun."
I frowned at our jointed hands before breaking them off and went into the house once again leaving Yoochun behind in the balcony.
