I have gotten used to the outrageous salaries in the entertainment world, but I have to admit I still get riled up whenever I see a sitcom star who makes $60k/episode (twice what I make in an entire year) demanding $220k/episode.
Here, here! When I hear people say 'if everyone pirates music, how are musicians going to make a living?' I respond by pointing out that musicians made a living for thousands of years before the advent of recorded music by live performances. Display some fucking adaptability, people.
I think its called "brusking" and it is Capitalism at its finest. Producer offering a product directly to the consumer, who pays an appropriate price. Its not the musicians who are concerned about making money, its all the useless people that make up the music industry who somehow make 200k a year with no actual skill or ability who are sweating the change.
