I dropped Bryce off for his first day of Safetytown this morning. The deathtrap car we borrowed for the week managed to make it so far without incident. Yes, I recognize the irony. I think I understand. I so miss the times David and I shared before he started school. We used to go so many places together and just plain goof around like only a toddler/preschooler can. I loved that time with him. I actually went through a mourning process about it. We still have great times together but, as much as I love who he is now, I miss the little kid he was.
