Bahaha! Looks like I'm MBA fail! I can never justify the money I spend on my bicycling fixation, but I'm happy not to. But then again, I may be able to justify it too. Public transportation here is actually quite expensive; a bus ride costs 21 SEK each way, meaning 42 SEK per day. On an average of 5 days a week into 4 weeks a month, that comes up to 842 SEK. The annual pass will work out cheaper, costing about 5000 SEK. That's the price I paid for my road bike, a year ago! I have however bought three other brand new bikes, the cheapest of which cost me 1500 SEK and was unfortunately stolen within six months of purchasing it. I have spent a lot of money on tools (non-consumables) and parts (consumables), none of which are cheap! I frankly dread to do a listing of all the things I've bought (and continue to buy!) because I'd probably be horrified, but I know they are not wasted, so that's kind of justified (or so I'd like to think!) My latest biking related project is an ambitious one; I'm building a wheel for my spare Shimano ( ... )
