Note to self - things to remember about buying smart phones

Okay, I was damn lucky to have gotten my hands around p565 in 6K and haven't regretted buying it since then. Knowing that this was more of luck by chance thingy rather than a conscious purchase thingy, I think it's about time for me to jot down points for purchasing any such gadget in future based on my experiences with p565 till date ( Read more... )

14K is a good amount to fetch any decent phone. You can go for any blackberry phone or HTC that comes in that range of 14K (3G with front camera and 5MP flash camera etc) if robustness is your key criteria. I do not have much experience about Samsung Galaxy/ACE/etc models so far but they seem quite delicate (in appearance). Secondly, try to have good screen guards and additional protection mechanisms in place along with the phone you are buying. That will improve the durability of your phone.

Android is good but not god. To be honest, I am quite happy even with the windows OS that I have on phone. It works and works quite well. At the end of the day, brand doesn't matter that much as much as its usability to you :)
