.
Big discussion going on in the RX8 forums on whether a member who was travelling on the right lane at the speed limit was road hogging, or the mercedes driver flashing and tailgating him was a maniac.
I spent quite a bit of time on this post, no point wasting it. After all, rubbish should be recycled innit?

Therefore, if you are travelling lower than the speed limit, try not to stay on Lane 1. If you die die must stay on Lane 1, please fuck off if I come bearing down on you at >90km/h, otherwise, it is my (and any other drivers') divine right to flash/highbeam/horn/or otherwise annoy you until you fuck right off.

But I'd rather do one at a time, though (and flashing is useless in the daytime), mainly because aggravating the hog is likely to result in him trying to block me off.

first lane: purely overtaking - and if you're perpetually overtaking..i guess u can stay on it. nobody TRAVELS on the first lane as a driving lane.
and everyone signals. it helps that their cars (at least the GOLF *drool* i drove) has this 5-second signal that you can "TAP" and it auto disappears after blinking for like 5 seconds or 5 times.
And becuz drivers seem SO reasonable, u usually get in and out of whatever lanes u need to within that timeframe.
ALL MY TIME THERE, I've never encountered anyone who "REFUSED" to let me in/out of a lane the way we'd face here.
AND AND AND.....
Ginormous vehicles (okok..not that big..just lorries, trailers etc) are ALWAYS on their 'allocated' lanes. They are hardly on the first or second lane except when there are LESS lanes of course.
One is truly humbled though whe she's overtaken by a van. That's when i decided i should be going faster. After all, there's no speed limit!
