Hey, Martha? Let's watch something funny tonight. I could use something verging on mindless.

[Private to the Admiral]

I'd like Sylar's ice powers returned to him, please. Is that possible?

[Private to Jason Bourne]

I need to talk to you, about our inmates.

[Private to Sylar, added later]

We need to talk.

Verging on mindless, huh?

...

No, forget it. It's just too easy.

Face it, it's kind of a case of 'insert your own punchline'. What's got you so stressed out, anyway?

Yeah, and I'm sure there are plenty of them. Nothing, really. Just some stuff I've been thinking about. What's been up with you?

I believe I could definitely do that. Really mindless or only mostly mindless?

Mostly mindless. I should probably think a little through it.

[After a pause] I didn't know about any deal he made. Thank you for telling me, sir.

Nothing. It's a request of mine, actually. Sylar has this need to get new abilities - superpowers, basically - but he feels he has to kill in order to do it. It's possible for him to learn a better way. I don't have any special powers, and the Admiral won't give me any; I can't be the one to work with him.

But I know your inmate from back home. He has abilities that Sylar can take. It needs to be done without killing him, and I've talked to Wilson about this - but he'll want something in return, first and foremost the abilities that have been limited here.

Is this okay with you?

Oh.

[Give him a minute.]

If Sylar takes abilities, would Wilson no longer have the abilities that had been restored to him?

No - I guess 'take' isn't really the right word. Sylar learns how to use it on his own, like he copies it. They'd both have those abilities.
