I meant with the flood, [she mutters, but she knows he knows that. Have a long pause here, Tim. She's thinking... And has a bit of an attitude, sorry. :|]
Why did you want to talk today? I mean--was it about the floods, or something else? Just because?
[Spam] ...She changed her mind and I am sorry. :|notarrowetteAugust 6 2010, 17:14:16 UTC
[Point. Bulldog it is.] Sometimes it feels like we only talk when there's a crisis.
[...Which is totally unfair, Cissie. :| But not entirely wrong. She is quiet for a minute before she just... starts talking. The floodgates, they have opened.]
You want to know why I said I think this flood affected me? Because it made me doubt whether or not people actually want to talk to me, or be friends with me, or whatever, or if they do it out of--I don't know, pity or because they're too nice not to, or they're using me, or out of some kind of sense of obligation. And at the same time, for whatever reason, Sylar thought you and I were having some kind of love affair or something and was just--a complete asshole. And now that's over, but the first thing Sylar wants to do is continue to be an ass and decide that the flood was right and he doesn't want to be friends anymore, and you want to make sure that we both know you only wanted to be with me because we weren't ourselves
( ... )
[Spam] ...Fff she had to say it e ventually :cpeektuttutAugust 6 2010, 18:07:59 UTC
[Floodgates indeed. Tim's a little floored, not totally sure how to respond, so he's silent for a second. Maybe two seconds. Three, tops.]
That isn't - I can't speak for Sylar-- [But he was Not Happy about what was being implicated] --but it's not like I wouldn't - I mean, you're my friend, Cissie. You're one of my oldest friends. I don't like you because I pity you, I--
[He ran a hand through his hair, pausing to gather his thoughts.] I've never thought of you that way. I mean-- [Okay, so there was that time in Young Justice, but Kon was the flirt, and there was Bart, and it had just been so much easier to keep to himself.] I don't know what I mean.
[Spam] I can think of a few, yes.notarrowetteAugust 7 2010, 03:27:00 UTC
[Possibly because if everyone who wanted one got one, there would be no barge left? ...But that is safe. Mostly. Yes. Safe. She takes a deep breath and manages to drop her hands to the table again. Progress!] I know. I do. I'm sorry, that's not--I didn't mean to--I wasn't fishing for... that. [Way to make sense there, Ciss.]
[Spam] Glorious, glorious lessons they would be!peektuttutAugust 8 2010, 16:46:18 UTC
[So much sense. Tim hesitated, looking at her. Why had he always thought Dick was bad? Just because he was open with who he flirted with? It wasn't like Tim hadn't been just as bad as him in relationships, on occasion. On a few occasions. Tim ran a hand over his face. For a detective, girls still confused the hell out of him.]
Yeah, I - just, you know - as long as you know that I do?
[Spam] With Venn Diagrams and everything!notarrowetteAugust 9 2010, 03:44:10 UTC
[He shouldn't feel bad. Girls confuse themselves--or Cissie does. And oh, they are so very articulate. Cissie is still trying not to make eye contact, but she's definitely not blushing. No. No way.]
[Spam] For easier learning!peektuttutAugust 9 2010, 03:49:48 UTC
[Oh good. This is a good step. Right? He smiles a little.] Good. Okay. Want a hug, or something? [And that gets a small laugh because lol he doesn't know quite how to handle this. :|]
[Spam] Visuals always help!notarrowetteAugust 9 2010, 04:45:57 UTC
[It's a good step! And now she's actually looking at him and smiling! A little smile, but still. Tim offering a hug? That doesn't happen all the time.] A hug would be good.
...Yeah, probably.
[HEY TIM, SHE STILL NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT SYLAR'S AMAZING EAVESDROPPING SKILLS, YOU KNOW.]

I know. I mean, that's not--I'm just--I don't know either.
