I think someone just tried to sell me a singing ring.

Well, I would not wish to be to guarantee anything in such a ...whimsical place. But the few I have heard take refuge there reported no ill effects or encounters.

I'm knocking on wood myself. All the pink's a little overwhelming, but I can handle that for a little time away from the Barge in a world that doesn't appear to immediately want to kill me.

Yeah. It's kind of nice to stretch my legs somewhere that isn't simulated. Though the guys yelling about performing marriages in the street are a little unsettling.

Lord, I don't want to know what sort of books these folk read.

Casino's been safe as far as I can see. Maybe if we get a real poker game going it'll be easier to stomach this glorified lemonade they call shots.

My money's on the Kama Sutra and Variations on a Romance Novel Theme. I don't think I'll be doing much reading.

Shots of what? I wouldn't mind playing a few hands, if you're looking to fill seats.
