The Rolling Stones are soon to play in the city the rhymes with fun... and there is a huge controversy over whether or not Keith Richards should be able to smoke on stage, without getting a fine of up to $5000

I think it is ridiculous that non-smokers in effect have better rights than smokers. Keith Richards, a phenominal musician wants to have a smoke on stage? Let the man have a smoke, he's been dead for 20 years, it's amazing he is able to entertain as well as he can. This concert in all honesty is probably going to brin Regina hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let the ignorant biggotted non-smokers all go to hell, and let someone else be human for a day. grrrr!
And, hey. If we want to appeal to logic... I was under the impression the smoking ban was being applied to the audience due to the turfing and fear that it would be damaged. Mr Richards will be on stage and none of his butts will fall on the turf. (Unless he falls off the stage! Ha Ha!)
Plus he is bringing enough money in to replace the field ten times over. lol
