Well I did walk in to Lismore from Lismore Heights which I think is about 6.5km. My hip is quite uncomfortable and I thought the walk would help stretch it out, doesn't seemed to have helped - I get the feeling the whole hockey thing has put it out and I may need to see a Chiro or Osteo about it soon (If only I knew what the difference was between ( Read more... )

Go you for winning hockey and taking walks.

Chiro and Osteo are quite similar from a patients point of view. As I recall the chiro mostly looks at bones, while the osteo will probably be attentive to the muscles as well, but it varies between practitioners. You can also throw in Physio for a matched set. Actually, for a hip problem I would see a physio, try to find one that deals with sports injuries. They tend to understand that you don't just want the pain to stop. You want to do the activity that caused the pain (eg, play hockey) again without it hurting.
