MULTI-PURPOSE SURVEY POST | UPDATED 4/24/11

CHARACTER PROFILE

Name: Captain Douglas Jay Falcon
Age: 39.
Birthdate: April 10th, 2532.
Birthplace: Port Town, United States, Earth. (I imagine it is the New Jersey of the future).
Bloodtype: A+
Dominant Hand: Right, although he's been trained to shoot with both.
Eyesight: Slowly declining from 20/20. He's never needed glasses.

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 220-230 lbs. It fluctuates.
Hair: Brown and greying a little if you look hard enough.
Eyes: Brown
Skin: White as wonderbread.
Other facial features: Sharp, angular, and severe. Noticeable bags under his eyes from years of crappy sleeping habits. It usually looks like he's scowling at something. He has a scar that cuts through his left eyebrow.

Favourite food: BREAKFAST FOODS. Breakfast is the best meal. Cereal and waffles and pancakes and eggs oh gosh eggs are the best you can cook them in so many different ways and then put ketchup on them it's amazing. Strawberry-flavored things. Peanut butter.
Favourite colour: Blue
Favourite movies: Action movies with lots of high-speed chases and explosions. He is rather partial to Fight Club.
Favourite books: Ha. Ha. Falcon doesn't read. He can't sit still long enough to do so.
Favourite music: Classic rock. The 20th century had such good music. Everything that comes out in the future is obnoxious electronica.
Favourite animal: Lol guess. He likes birds and dogs. Big dogs, like golden retrievers and German shepherds. He wants a dog so badly.
Favourite weather: 70s and overcast. Falcon doesn't like being too hot or too cold, and prefers being too cold to being too hot.
Favourite sport/physical activity: Running. He will run forever.
Favourite date spot: High places. Rooftops, fancy restaurants with big windows and vantage points, F-Zero tracks...He loves the very top of Port Town Aero Dive. It is the best makeout point.
Preferred type: Someone smart and funny, who thinks he's funny and isn't above stroking his ego. Someone strong who can keep him on his toes and enjoys a little friendly competition, but doesn't win all the time.
Best subject: Math and science--but not the biological sciences. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT DISTINCTION.

Disliked food: He is a ridiculously picky eater. Anything overly/artificially sweet. Tomatoes (ketchup and tomato soup and tomato sauce are okay, unless it has chunks in it, then it is NOT OKAY). Onions are horrible. So are various and sundry things like mayo, raisins (GET OUT OF COOKIES), olives (except the black ones because you can stick them on your fingers), grape jelly, bananas (unless they are sliced up and/or have whipped cream on them), little annoying pieces of red cabbage, cauliflower, SANDWICH CRUSTS, poppyseed bagels (because you end up picking poppyseeds out of your teeth for the rest of the day and that's gross), icing, mushrooms, and anything called "salad" that isn't actually comprised of lettuce.
Disliked colour: Brown. It's dull and boring.
Disliked movies: CHICK FLICKS. AUGH. LOVE DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY IN REAL LIFE.
Disliked books: Every book.
Disliked music: Country music what the hell is that yodeling shit.
Disliked animal: BEES.
Disliked weather: Rain is fine, but not in excess. He really hates a lot of humidity.
Disliked sport/physical activity: Tennis. What the crap, man.
Disliked date spot: Overly crowded, noisy places.
Disliked type: Someone with no backbone or sense of adventure. Someone who can't deal with spontaneity or a volatile personality.
Worst subject: ENGLISH. Artsy things.

Description of bedroom: On the island: Very spartan. Bed, dresser, nighttable, closet. Besides his clothes and weapons, he has very few personal effects and doesn't keep mementos, so the room is conspicuously lacking in photographs or keepsakes.

In the Firehouse it's a little less austere. He shares it with Samus, so it's slightly more aesthetically pleasing. Still, photographs, etc. are missing.
Scents (shampoo/cologne/lotion/etc.): Generic aftershave smell. He doesn't usually wear cologne, unless he has a date, perhaps. There's a consistent and underlying scent of rocket fuel and motor oil which is stronger depending on where he's been.
Laugh: Loud, abrupt, and barking.
Sense of humour: Sarcastic and dry. Occasionally bitter and dark.
Temper: He has a pretty explosive one, if provoked.
Basic nature: Serious. No-nonsense. Cynical.
Kinsey rating: 2. Identifies as bisexual, prefers women. Will sleep with those not of his species if they are humanoid enough.
Spends money on: Tech stuff. Car parts. Groceries. Presents for Samus, Jeff, and Ionia.
Daily rituals: Wakes up every day at 5 am to run, then showers/breakfasts/gets ready. Spends most of his non-teaching, non-working out time working on the car/firehouse or hanging out with Samus.
Random trivia:
-Hates hospitals and doctors and lawyers and cops. He basically equates them with Not a Fun Time.
-ALLERGIC TO BEES. He carries an epipen on him at all times. It has saved his life more than once.
-It is impossible to tell (surgical scars aside), but the accident also left Falcon with a few cybernetic implants where organic material should be (for example, his right knee is fake). The implants do not enhance his function at all and were inserted to replace things damaged beyond repair.
-"Falcon" is just a codename. He will, under no circumstances, disclose his real surname to anyone. Any and all mention of it has been long obliterated from every record. Consider it lost to the ages.
-Claustrophobic! It's not crippling, but he hates tiny, enclosed spaces, like tubes and air vents.
Currently wants: Safety for himself and his family. Some peace and quiet, but not too much peace and quiet. That's boring. He also wants people to just stop trying to kill him.

Secondary want includes being remembered. he can't stand the thought of becoming washed-out or fading into obscurity.
Dress (style, colors): Composed entirely of t-shirts and jeans, punctuated by track suits, leather jackets, and fingerless (fireproof) yellow gloves. When it gets colder, he'll break out a turtleneck or sweater. Under leather jackets. Most everything he owns is custom, and a good deal of said jackets and t-shirts have some kind of emblem on them. Shoes-wise, he tends to favor a pair of trusty red running sneakers. Often-worn colors are blue, yellow, orange, red, white, black, brown, and the occasional green. Sometimes all at once. Anything more dressed-up than a blazer and a button-down is highly unlikely. He likes yellow scarves and high collars and popping said collars and has a pretty bad habit of dressing like he's still 25.

His racing/bounty hunting getup is made entirely of space spandex fireproof. His helmet is equipped with some fun exciting gadgets like a night vision/thermal visor, a communicator, and a device to remotely control his vehicles. It also serves as his primary method of identity protection. Buuut...it's a little impractical to go around a school setting in space spandex and a helmet, so he compensates for this by wearing a pair of large, dark sunglasses at all times. It is a privilege to see the entirety of his face.
Current occupation: Freelance bounty hunter. F-Zero Racer/Posterboy. Physics teacher. Football Coach.
Marital status: Dating Samus Aran.
Current Residence: An abandoned and refurbished firehouse.

Sun sign: Aries.

"Adventurous and energetic

Pioneering and courageous

Enthusiastic and confident

Dynamic and quick-witted

Selfish and quick-tempered

Impulsive and impatient

Foolhardy and daredevil"

More.

Decanate: Third. Sagittarius Decante."Week of the Pioneer".

"Here, the influence of Venus (the other secondary planet governing this Decan) tempers the Aries nature, but allows it to become rash and headlong, ready to adopt any cause because of sentimental reasons. This Decan of Aries denotes a pleasure-seeking character which should be controlled. Cultivation of the sincerity and generosity which Jupiter supplies is all-important. On a personal level, those governed by the Third Decan of Aries tend to remain rather aloof from others and indeed, the environment in genera. While this may appear to be indicative of a distant character who is difficult to get to know, being somewhat detached enables these Aries individuals to maintain better control of their tempers simply because they do not let as many things upset them. They protect their freedom and may lead a nomadic life. Liberty to come and go, coupled with the need for personal space, is essential to the health and happiness of this Decan. Its natives cannot abide employment, lifestyles or relationships that tend to restrict or confine."

Moon sign: Moon in Aries.

"The Aries Sun/Aries Moon combination produces a truly explosive personality. These natives are dynamic, hard-hitting, powerful and magnetic. Here, every characteristic provided by the Sun sign is intensified. Indeed, independence and self-confidence may be so enhanced that they prove to be a stumbling block in personal relationships if not kept under control. These persons are individualists first, last and always. Extremely impatient with others, they sometimes go to the extent of being intolerant and may be viewed as "hardboiled" due to the "matter-of-fact" characteristic of this Aries Sun/Aries Moon combination. By nature, such individuals express themselves readily and forcefully...often with no little dramatic effect...and there is a distinct difficulty displayed in terms of listening to and understanding the woes of those around them. Yet, this mix can be demanding of others' attention on the rare occasions when they disclose their own personal problems. The Aries Sun/Aries Moon person is not particularly intellectual and may not have even taken the time to obtain a good education. Indeed, it is not uncommon for this combination to find well-educated and intellectually pretentious people rather boring and uninteresting. Aries persons born with the Moon in Aries are unimpressed with abstract thoughts and ideas, being bent on actions and accomplishments. This is not to say that such individuals do not use their minds. In fact, the minds of those who fall under the jurisdiction of this combination are constantly active...reading, talking and discussing. There is nobody more talented than this mix at getting things done...and done swiftly. Here, the leadership traits are truly exceptional, but there is a need to develop qualities of tact and consideration for the feelings of others."

Rising sign: Leo.

"Leo Ascendant people are very self-aware and body-conscious. They are acutely aware of others, and how they come across. In fact, these people are especially aware of their personal "backdrop"--they consider what the people they're with, and the environments they are in, do to their own image. Often, Leo rising natives feel as if they are on stage, even in the privacy of their own homes!
They are given to rash decisions, temper tantrums, and excesses. The desire to oversee the goings-on in their circle can sometimes amount to bossiness. If this desire doesn't go too far, however, it can just mean a person who wants to make sure the people they love are all right. Many Leo rising people are managers, either by profession or character. Leo rising people are generally demonstrative, and given to grand gestures. Drama comes naturally to these natives.
Leo Ascendants often have a strong physical constitution. They pay special attention to their personal appearance and mannerisms. Usually, they choose clothing and hairstyles that are youthful. Their manner is authoritarian and strong. No matter their age in real-world terms, Leo rising people are kids at heart."

Dominant character traits: Brash, sarcastic, egotistical, determined.
Likeable traits: Dependable, generally amicable, protective.
Annoying traits: Arrogant, cocky, apathetic, bitter, self-centered, jaded.

Love interest(s): Samus Aran
Lust interest(s): ...Samus Aran
Close friends: ...Yeah Samus again. Max. Falcon is close to a few students but doesn't really consider them friends. Professionalism and all that.
Other friends: ....8(. He likes Kyle Hyde and Surge, though he's not particularly close to either of them.
Acquaintances: Most of the school. He's been around for a while and at least knows of pretty much everybody.
Enemies and why: Various and sundry crime bosses, bandits, drug lords, gangsters, mafiosos, and generally bad people. Being good at bounty hunting means a lot of people want to stop you from mucking up their criminal operations. By killing you. Here are Falcon's big three, in ascending order of evil.

-Blood Falcon: A seven-year old (in SBG's timeline, anyway) psychopathic manchild out to kill the guy he was cloned from. So Falcon. He's trying to kill the real Falcon because that's what he was created to do. Made a brief appearance when Black Shadow tried to catch Arceus. He's out there somewhere.
-Black Shadow: The dude responsible for about 85% of Falcon's misery. Orchestrated a devastating racing accident that left Falcon in a coma for like a week, then used said coma as an opportunity to steal the Captain's DNA and make the aforementioned psychopathic clone. The hatred stems all the way back to Falcon's early bounty hunting days, where he put away a crazy voodoo guy named Jay Gonzo Snaky. Wouldn't you know, this dude was Black Shadow's bff. It's been a hide-and-seek game of death from then on out. Black Shadow did a semi-recent stint at Smash Academy that ended when Arceus kicked him to the curb. He and Falcon were recently reunited at the most recent Grand Prix, where it was revealed that Black Shadow was working for Deathborn. MIA.
-Deathborn: A brain in a jar who crashed the most recent Grand Prix and revealed that Black Shadow was working for him. Wanted Falcon's belt. Fell in some lava and is currently MIA. Falcon doesn't think he's dead, though. He's never that lucky.

Family:
- Mother, living. Lives in Port Town. Falcon has recently resumed contact with her after like a decade of pretending she didn't exist. IT'S OKAY HE WAS ONLY DOING IT TO PROTECT HER.
- Father, deceased. Worked as a mechanic in Port Town. Kind of a drunk. Died when Falcon was nineteen.
- Ionia Falcon-Andonuts, adopted daughter. Currently an exchange student in a galaxy far, far away. Falcon is having trouble coping with her absence, as they did not part on the best of terms.
- Kent Akechi, biological son. The result of an incredibly irresponsible one-night stand. Falcon does not know he exists, as this particular fling's pregnancy coincided with him leaving Internova, erasing his records, and dropping off the face of the earth forever. So the only reason he doesn't know is because nobody could find him, and then like, all the groupies started claiming he fathered their children. WHOOPS.
-Jeff Andonuts also counts as fakeson.

Habits: Falcon is a notorious fidgeter and has trouble sitting still. He often taps his fingers or writing utensils, or bounces a foot while sitting.
Talents:
-He is very, very good at driving cars. His automotive abilities know no bounds and he has a veritable mountain of maneuvers and tricks up his sleeve when he's behind the wheel. Things like driving backwards while facing another car that is like a foot away and not looking behind him. This is some serious speed racer shit, man REARVIEW MIRRORS ARE FOR CHUMPS. As such, he has excellent muscle memory and incredible reflexes, because you pretty much have to know any given F-Zero track by heart to race successfully.
-He is military-trained in several styles of martial arts and it's probably in your best interests to stay out of fights with him.
-He can set himself on fire. This is sort of a weird ability in that it has a lot of limitations--he can only set himself on fire, he cannot project the flames or ignite objects remotely, and if he comes in contact with an outside source of fire, he burns just like anyone else. He has, however, figured out that if he is already on fire, he cannot be harmed by preexisting fire.
-Falcon is also a very good cop/bounty hunter. There are a lot of talents that sort of fit into this profession, like quick thinking, fair reasoning skills, and good aim.
Hobbies: Racing, bounty hunting, being a douche. Tinkering with car parts. Techno-geeking. Space travel. Collecting 20th and 21st-century music and tech junk.
Entertainment of choice: Racing news and magazines.
Musical talents: He can sort of play the bass, but not really because he's pretty terrible. He can't read music and would probably have a tolerable singing voice if he wasn't marginally tone deaf.
Ambitions: Be great. Make an impact. Go down in history as the greatest racecar driver who ever lived.
Educational background: Falcon has a high school education and spent two years in a police academy instead of going to college, but he has a mind for math and science. Still, he teaches his class out of a textbook.
Philosophy of life: You want something done right, you do it yourself. Falcon does not buy into luck or superstition or put faith in higher powers and believes that the only one responsible for success or failure is you.

Introvert/extrovert: An introvert who pretends to be an extrovert. Or an extrovert who was forced to be an introvert. It can go both ways, really.
Intuitive/reasoning: Intuition all the way. Falcon rarely stops to think things through and just acts.
Optimist/pessimist: Pessimist. He is bitter, disenchanted, and views the world through some pretty thick jade-colored glasses. He is not allowed to have nice things, and if everything's looking up for him, you can bet your butt it's all going to come crashing down.
Tense/relaxed: Tense. His job(s) stress him out quite a bit. It's hard to relax when everyone wants to kill you, and this is pretty evident in the noticeable bags under his eyes.
Serious/carefree: Serious. There is a more lighthearted side of him that surfaces every now and again, but it is more of a facade to keep himself from going crazy.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH CHARACTER

What is your earliest memory?
Hell if I know. My mom taking me to the shop to meet my dad after work. I liked the cars.

What was your biggest disillusion as a child?
Realizing my dad didn't give two shits about anything.

What's one thing no one knows about you?
My real name.

What's one thing everyone assumes about you that isn't true?
That I'm who I say I am.

What's one thing you wish you could stop?
Sabotaging myself.

What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
I've done a lot. I can't think of anything specific. I'd say I want to kill Black Shadow but that's kind of depressing to think the one thing I really want to do is off somebody.

What are you a sucker for?
Dogs. Sort of wish I could have a pet.

What's your biggest pet peeve?
People who think they're great but actually aren't.

What is your most prized possession?
My car. Kind of a no-brainer.

What can absolutely make your day, no matter what?
...Ionia.

What's the worst part of your life right now?
Ionia is gone.

Do you have or want children?
I shouldn't have biological children. Jeff and Ionia are enough.

If/when you ever have children, what is one thing you absolutely want to teach them?
Don't compromise. Stick to your guns.

What was the worst advice your father ever gave you? The best?
If my father ever gave me advice, I don't remember it.

When did you feel you'd finally 'come of age?'
When I got out of high school and told my parents I was leaving.

How do you feel about sex?
I like it. It's a little overhyped. People take it too seriously.

Describe your ideal significant other.
I've got her.

How do you deal with depression, stress or sadness?
Go driving. Drink. Probably in that order.

How do you think of yourself?
I've done things I'm not proud of. I'm not sure if I'm really a good guy, but it's not for lack of trying.

How do your friends think of you?
I don't know. I assume they think I'm an okay guy or they wouldn't be my friend.

How do your enemies think of you?
An obstacle that needs to be destroyed.

Who is your biggest role model?
Waste of time. You're not going to get anywhere trying to follow in someone else's shoes. Make your own path.

What is your biggest accomplishment to date?
Grand Prix wins, I guess.

What has been your most humbling experience to date?
Getting shot usually knocks me down a peg.

What will it take for you to die happy?
Just...knowing that everyone I'm close to is safe, and that I made some sort of impression somewhere.

What would you rather be doing right now?
Not sure. Maybe work on the car a little.

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Falcon is tall (6'3") and built (~230 lbs). Once upon a time (in those awkward teenage years) he was sort of awkward and lanky and all legs but then he conquered puberty and started working out and now he is pretty much a wall of muscle.

2. How old is he?
39. Born 4/10/2532 in Port Town, USA. Falcon mostly keeps the '2532' part hush-hush. Don't want to freak people out.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
It depends on who he's around. If he's presenting himself for the public or is dealing with people he doesn't know, he stands straight and tall and carries himself with the intention of being as intimidating as possible. If he's in more comfortable company, he sinks back into the slouching habits of somebody who once upon a time grew too many inches too quickly and was like a foot taller than everyone else he knew.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He is healthier than he used to be. There has always sort of been an underlying tendency to misuse and abuse alcohol, but in recent years (read: post-accident) he has calmed down substantially (he still sort of has an alcohol problem). He does not smoke (anymore) and his career(s) sort of make it a necessity that he keeps himself in ridiculous shape. Stress takes its toll on him and it is difficult to not eat all of the ice cream.

He is allergic to bees. That is probably the closet thing he has to a condition/physical disability.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Falcon is surprisingly agile for someone of his size. Though it might be a stretch to call him graceful, he is not clumsy and moves with determination and confidence. He is also scarily flexible for someone of his build/age because everyone in Brawl is made of rubber.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Uh, let's be honest. His appearance is a little severe to be considered conventionally attractive. I mean I guess if you like super intense manly guys with buttchins lantern jaws of justice then he is potentially a hottie. His facial features are very sharp, angular, and (as mentioned before) severe. He sports noticeable bags under his eyes from poor sleeping habits and stress, and a perpetual scowl is more or less engraved on his face in the form of some premature wrinkle action.

Falcon, however, is mildly preoccupied with his looks and considers himself to be attractive in his own special manly way. He knows he cleans up nicely.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
White as wonderbread. Caucasian and sort of on the pale side (space will do that to you). His face is clear save a scar through his left eyebrow. For someone who makes such a point of hiding his face, the actual reveal is a little anticlimactic.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Brown (leans to the red side of brown if you're really specific about your shades of brown), thick, straight, and greying just a little if you look close enough. Usually he wears his hair shorter in the front and a bit longer in the back, but currently it's growing in after being shaved off in April 2010. Right now it's kind of in that awkward shaggy stage before it could be considered not-short NEVERMIND HE SHAVED IT OFF AGAIN (April 2011). He has something of a minor widow's peak and is extremely proud of his excellent sideburns.

9. What color are his eyes?
Brown again, and completely unremarkable. The particular shade isn't terribly dark or light and could even be described as dull.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He is completely covered in various scars from the neck down.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Right between the eyes. He is prone to headaches.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Extremely casual, to an almost ridiculous extent. "Dressed up" for Falcon includes a button-down and a blazer (he's been known to wear a tux when the occasion really calls for it, but he certainly doesn't own one). His wardrobe is composed entirely of t-shirts and jeans, punctuated by track suits, leather jackets, and fingerless (fireproof) yellow gloves. He likes yellow scarves and high collars and popping said collars and has a very bad habit of dressing like he's still 25. He wears a pair of large, dark sunglasses that obscures the upper half of his face, which he considers a privilege to see in its entirety.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes (especially t-shirts) run a little on the tight side, but he likes them that way and does it on purpose because when you have awesome pecs, etc. you want to show them off.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
His racing/bounty hunting getup is a painfully skintight flight suit that is also completely fireproof. Gloves, scarf, steel-toed boots, pauldron, shinguards, orange wrist-y things, ridiculously popped collar, etc. His helmet is equipped with some fun exciting gadgets like a night vision/thermal visor, a communicator, and a device to remotely control his vehicles. It also serves as his primary method of identity protection (though he can lift the visor that's sort of neat).

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
BOXER BRIEFS. BLUE ONES.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Just your generic baritone. Here is a voice meme.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Falcon can't quite get a hang of the inside voice. That's okay, though, because it means people pay attention when he talks, and he likes that. Unfortunately, it means he is usually very LOUD and if he is yelling at you he is even LOUDER. He hesitates about as much as your average person.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Space New Jersey Nothing too terribly noticeable. He is guilty of the occasional "uhhh", but doesn't really exhibit many speech quirks.

He pronounces it 'pawnch'.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He is only fluent in English like the crummy American he is. He can speak/understand a few alien languages at a grade-school level, and receive/send simple messages in said alien languages when necessary, but that's mostly to talk to non-English-speaking fans or employers. In being a Fed, he learned many things like morse code and galactic codes and protocols, etc. etc. He knows enough Spanish to be able to tell someone to fuck his or her mother.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope. But if he's getting interviewed or speaking to officially official people, he'll take extra care to enunciate.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
The committee makes him read off cue cards at press conferences. That should give you an idea.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Somewhere in the middle. It's not difficult for him to speak his mind, but he is not, by nature, a very verbose or fluid speaker. He can be a bit of a smooth talker if he puts his mind to it, though.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Falcon is much, much more street-smart than book-smart. His sheer experience far outweighs his education, which is high-school at best. He doesn't like to read and doesn't think very highly of pretentious academic types. This is not to say he isn't knowledgable--he's very good with math and mechanics, and is a veritable reservoir of (admittedly useless) pop culture trivia. And that means he can quote things to sound smart.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
On his feet. Deliberating wastes time, unless it's an extremely delicate situation. But then again, Falcon is not really the delicate type.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Extremely practical and extremely intuitive. He is a very pragmatic, down-to-earth thinker, and he'll go with his gut nine times out of ten. It's only occasionally wrong!

4. What kind of education has the character had?
He graduated high school and stopped there, continuing on to the Galactic Space Federation Police Academy. That's it. He had absolutely no interest in college and about 80% of his knowledge is based entirely on experience and para-military training. In that sense, his collection of know-how is very practical.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Falcon is good at CARS and DRIVING. He is also good at MECHANICS and WEAPONRY and FIGHTING. Lately he's sort of taken an interest in robotics, because he thinks it would be pretty cool to be Iron Man.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
This is a bit of a tough question. He's both, in different situations. For the media and the general public, he has to be extroverted--ultra-confident, a showman, the Guy Everyone Wants to Be. Though it's largely an act, a part of him actually is this person. He loves attention and the spotlight and fuel for his massive ego.

On the other hand, years of everyone wanting him dead has forced him to spurn most interpersonal interaction, which he is more-or-less okay with. A large part of him just wants to be left alone.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Falcon has a fierce temper and volatile emotions. Ordinarily, he is cool and collected, but if you make him angry, be prepared for ANGER. He doesn't do things in halves, and any emotion he has or mood he's in will likely be to some extreme, though extreme positive emotions are much less common for him. He is extremely driven when it comes to things that are important to him, and applies that FERVOR to many, if not all, of the things he does.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He is generally cautious. You never know when someone is going to try to kill you. At school, he is amicable enough, but it's easy to see that he would probably rather be elsewhere. Falcon tends to come off a bit awkward, like he isn't used to or doesn't like being around new people or people he doesn't know very well. He has similar responses to being touched and it's easy to see he is not used to/not a fan of/is made uncomfortable by unsolicited physical contact. JUST DOESN'T LIKE IT.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act. He's a leader, not a follower, and acting first often gives you a leg up. Or completely screws you over. It goes both ways for Falcon.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
PUNCH YOU IN DA FACE.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Generally rather dry, bitter, and dark. He is known to crack jokes from time to time, but they are usually of the sarcastic and ironic variety.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Nothing diagnosable. He is sort of paranoid and self-centered, but those aren't really disorders.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?

14. What does he fear?

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
