Granted, the kid was a thief, but damn. In the officers defense, they didn't say if the dog was a pug or a pitbull on the offensive, but eaither way I think this probably went a little far.
unfortunately, I don't think I should go to that site from work. I'm at the wrong branch of the government to be fire-arm friendly. They may not care, but I'm not taking chances, maybe I'll check it out tomorrow before work. You're not even allowed to lock your pistol inside of an in car safe if you can legally concealed carry in Texas. What really pisses me off is the post office has that same rule. Technically if you have any firearm in your vehicle or posession just to drive through the mail drop outside of the post office without leaving your vehicle you've comitted a felony according to the sign outside.
The post office sign here in MN says that it is a felony to posses a firearm in a post office unless you are authorized. Technically, a state permit should qualify as authorization, but this has never been clarified, as nobody has volunteered to be a test case yet.
Odd that NASA would be hostile to weapons. How are you supposed to fight off the aliens?
It's federal, it actually says "or parking areas" or something simular on the door, I'll grab a picture of it next week to be sure.
NASA is very hostile to them. I've heard stories about hunters having them in their back seats etc.. after a hunting trip and they made them remove their fire arms from the site. Usually they'll grab an office mate who lives nearby, park in front of their house/apartment and come back, but they do not want them here, and will even perform random vehicle inspections. No weapons what so ever are allowed in your vehicle. I'm wondering about tire irons.
I've often wondered why so many stores are anti-concealed carry. I'm sure it's to make the left wing shoppers feel more secure, but Sams Club, half the chain restaraunts (even the ones with a country theme), and many other random places have anti-concealed carry propaganda on the doors. Guess I'll have to do like my old boss, send them letters and stop shopping there.
