My friend just moved to Austin - he's completely confused by the weather there. Yesterday - 80F, tonight, 30F

Fortunately he's just outside of the big dust zone. Go further West during the summer and he can actually experience low visability not due to fog or snow, but because of to much dirt in the air. I've actually seen the sun blacked out to 45 minutes past sunset darkness at noon due to dirt, for three days straight. What's really fun is when it rains during a dirt storm. Mudballs from the heavens.

He actually moved to Austin from New Mexico - so he's very familiar with the dust storm concept.

Mudballs eh? sounds pretty messy.

Got a high school job at a car lot because of it. I was orginally hired for three days to wash cars, three months later I had to leave because I had a job at a video store I had to take for class at school.

Attention people that argue the Firebird is faster than the Camero or vice versa: I have seen the diagrams from the parts diagrams, they are the same vehicle, there is no mystical part change somewhere that people insist upon arguing with me about. A few different body panels, the whole pop-up vs. stationary headlight thing, some trim sure, those are different, but the drive trains are the same. GMC vs. Chevy trucks, same story. I'm sure that's not the last argument I'll have on the subject.
