I think I'm in a sort of blue funk, or brown study - one of those colourful moods, at any rate.  I was so bored yesterday that I went in and cleaned the office, which is surely a sign of mental derangement.  Even with three books on at once I've only been managing to muddle through a page or two before developing an urge to toss the thing through

What makes you think you're going to beat me? If by some twist of fate that happens, I won't cry, though. Not that it will.

i'm aware it's a different type of bowling, dear, but my point still stands
