You're right about Slideshare changing the way its fullscreen mode works, and that's irritating to me as well. From what I've noticed, reading from the embeds rather than directly from Slideshare will do the trick. All credits go to Di, who mentioned that in her latest update.

Deco food is totally the way to go. I just wish someone with more CC skills than I would extract all the in-game food.

Slideshare keeps making changes not for the better, and the need to stop. I'm not a fan of blog style postings either, so there's really no other options for people like us. :/
