Because showing and talking about what my Sims are up to in the game inspires me to write for them. Nothing else really does. And let me tell you, I have been really uninspired lately.
A ton of pictures and rambly ramblings are under the cut.

I was going to ask where you got the hacked easel, I may need to get it. ^_^
Rhys and Eden are very cute together. It is nice to see him in a relationship with a non-psychotic woman... not like he is in my game at all... no... not at all... *whistles*
BTW the toddler poses are the cutest thing I've seen in like ever.
Have fun writing!

I feel for you on the Sims without CC. It's amazing how they all look the same without their hair and such, lol.
I love that posebox, too. There are so few boxes for children and toddlers.
Have fun sorting out your Sims!

Adorable kids and I think it's really funny that they are all related to each other somehow this generation. I totally understand the birthday thing. I just had to restage one because I discovered that the pictures from it were so old most of the teens in the background are now in college in the story. Add in some ACR and generally sim swarming behaviors and yeah...they can be really obnoxious. Skipping over them in story is totally a legit way to deal with that.
Also, you seem to have the coolest collection of pose boxes. Where did you get the toddler one?
I am looking forward to seeing your next chapter. I hope your inspiration helps. I know reading your pic spam was inspiring for me as well.

The toddler posebox came from here: http://giumagique.wordpress.com/2010/12/13/baby-posebox/
Actually, I use most of the boxes from that site. They're all really nice, though it's irritating that one of the Sims needs to be stretched out a lot. I try to avoid that as much as possible.
Aw, I'm glad you liked my spam and that you were inspired by it :) That makes me happy :)

*nodnod* There is often a difference between game!sims and story!sims and I always love to see it. I do feel bad for Mary, but in the context of the story you've woven for her, it makes a lot of sense.
Ah Stanley, he does make good sad faces, and actually seems to get sad at quite a few things. Thank goodness there was no slapping though!
Yay for being inspired to write too! I'm glad to hear it. :D
