I'm sorry dear, I didn't get what 'il mio Luciana' is supposed to mean..il mio is refers to a male noun..Luciana is a female name..what was he trying to call her? I can help you with the italian translation, if you want. Not that it matters, really :P but I didn't get what he was trying to call her and I think I missed the point :/
mh ok, no it doesn't XD LOL. 'Luce' (loo-che) means light, and light is female. You don't need the article, you can translate 'my' exactly like in english, but instead of 'mio' you would chose 'mia' (female). It actually sounds very poetic, calling a woman 'my' something. Mia luce sounds real nice. Otherwise it kinda sounds like he's calling her another's woman name (in my mind, an old lady XDD)
Luciana has the same root but is a somewhat good old fashined name (you would find grandmas and aunties to have it XD) not associated with light at all..
Actually, that's very helpful. It goes to show that direct internet translation isn't always ideal. So, I'll make the changes to "mia luce" as per your suggestions. Thanks!
