Halfway through this entry, there was a crash in the kitchen and both cats scrambled past me when I got up to investigate. Which is actually a good demonstration of what life has been like. I've been FB lurking and things, and I most often feel like no one will possibly remember me, so I didn't want to be the creepy stranger commenting on things. But I think of you fondly, too, even if I have also mostly disconnected from fandom. (I'm trying, but... well, with a full-time job and planning a wedding and paying bills and personal crises, well. It's hard.)

This is a wonderful post, and I am glad you sent it. And, even if I'm not quick with the responses, feel free to shoot me FB messages, or emails, or whatever makes you most comfortable :)

So many weddings. I thought of yours too as I was writing up this entry!

I think we're both a little shy, but I am glad that you are still also reminiscing and remembering. And yes, that's how life goes sometimes. I've been no stranger to the "being busy" aspect of life; I mused this post over while I was busy cleaning four pounds of limes and trying not to sneeze on everything. :)

The offer you've made? You know, I think I will take you up on it.

I'm not really feeling sad, exactly? Life happens! Just nostalgic, I suppose.

Maggie! :hugs: I think of you a lot and wonder how you're doing :-) My oldest daughter just finished her freshman year at FSU. I just actually finished my 2010 Nano :-))) Life hasn't changed much here in DB :-) I'm so glad you posted :-)

I'm mostly on GTalk these days, after AIM blocked my account for some reason.

madame.maggie for Gtalk/Gmail messenger. Also pearlrose86/gmail, but that's more for my e-mail.
