No wonder you haven't been posting. I am sure you are spending very free moment with that darling Gabby! I am jealous. I'm ready for my own granddaughter. Lucky Pearl!
Haha when my niece was born my brother in law was 10? and much was made of the "Are you excited to be an uncle?!?" He was super excited, could not wait for that baby to be born. And then she was a newborn and Did Nothing. LOL A couple years later he was much more impressed.
It's good to see that you being away from LJ is because you are having a good time with family and not some other (bad) stuff going on.
Living close to your daughter is lucky for all of you, I'm sure. I wouldn't know what to do with the kid if my mum didn't live close by to take care of him when I work. :)
