This was written as a thank you to Shiv5468 for a random act of thoughtfulness. Even though it is SS/HG, I don’t know that I will post this elsewhere (though I have lived long enough to know you should never say never). The story is not beta’d. The mistakes are all mine.

Now that's much better than chocolate. Much, much better.

And it's made me feel obscurely guilty about depriving Severus of Hermione in the future. And about not writing sex scenes, because the poor soul misses out. And it is about time that Severus pursued Hermione - he's been having far too easy for far too long. Hmmmmmm. The Second Mrs Snape may just see that scenario.

Actually, the whole story has made me come over all HG/SS again, you temptress.

Glad you liked it! I've always liked your version of Hermione, so much stronger than she is portrayed in quite a few of the stories.

I love your writing, I have gone back and reread your stories several times over. I've always appreciated a snarky Severus more subtle humor.
