Holy crap, dude. This is fantastic. You have them - you have them completely. I absolutely adore Geoffrey, and Ellen - she's perfect. Her conversation with Oliver - I can hear it, hear it all, in my head, so perfectly.

This is just gorgeous. Hot and bittersweet and lovely.

Oh how wonderful to see more S&A fic, partic. this backstory -- about which we really don't know nearly enough. I love the sense that even back then, Ellen was the more jaded one but got caught up in Geoffrey's enthusiasm. And Oliver! I'm a firm believer that you can't really have a Geoffrey/Ellen story w/o some kind of tip of the hat to the specter that is Oliver (alive or dead).

Oh wow, this is wonderful. I've been craving Geoffrey/Ellen fic like whoa lately, and this completely delivers. The dialogue is pitch-perfect, and I think this might be my Geoffrey/Ellen backstory canon now. Oliver is fab, too. Love.
