We've spent on educational toys for the boy to play with, who knew that a simple, empty laundry basket would be so enthralling?

I guess this coming Christmas will feature the joys of wrinkled giftwrap and empty boxes...

Fridge boxes are the BEST. I remember being 4 and pretending I was a groundhog and deciding to stay in the box till Feb 2. (This was in January, 1975) it lasted all of till Thunder, the wonder stallion came on the TV.

I agree totally - I had a little playhouse made out of a fridge box once. I cut out the windows and the door and used my markers to decorate it. It was a little haven away from my annoying big brother.

And then it rained. Boo. :(

Amazing how little kids can take the most mundane things and turn them into something fun and fabulous.
