I'll keep this brief... There are a few early gaps in my Ian McDonald library and I've been plugging them with ebooks. The latest is Scissors Cut Paper Wrap Stone, which contains Buddhism, Shinto and human programming. I just googled Tomato Cake and... OK, I'm not going to lie, they looked horrifying. I'm not sure which was worse, the cakes that contained tomatoes as an ingredient that clearly will taste awful, or the creepy grinning anthropomorphic fondant icing tomatoes. I am going to have nightmares.

I hadn't even heard of that McDonald book, he does always seem to have written more than I realise.

I bought his "King of Morning, Queen of Day" recently (at Archipelicon), not read it yet. I think I remember him describing it at a previous TitanCon as being Urban Fantasy before the term was invented.
