Yes, my filthy chums, it's been a while, but I haven't forgotten you! Oh, no! I will have my revenge, and you, you will be the star...

But until then, oh future victims, let us share our entertainments.

I absolutely loved Station Eleven and am promptly reading anything else by the wonderfully named Emily St John MAndell. I cannot remember enjoying a discovery so much, for some time. I also lapped. I want the knife tattoos. Read her other work. I may come back and link some - I may space that out.

Also hello, and enjoy Luxcon and the exotic frites.

Ah, yes, the dagger tattoos. I may get a 'Z' every time I bore somebody to death :)

*high pitched scream* I love Adventure Time! "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain" is just amazing. To hell with "gritty realism", we are going to have a The Ultimate Happy Ending.

Mathematical!

Haven't seen that episode yet. On Netflix they seem to have every series except the first one. Did you see the one about pie delivery with the gingerbread man at the end? Holy crap that last scene was incredibly funny.

Yes, that is a truly wonderful, and horrifying, episode.

"wonderful and horrifying" describes a lot of Adventure Time episodes, actually. Oh, how I love it...

Enjoying Wolf Hall as well. The pacing is surprisingly meditative until it suddenly isn't. It puts me in mind of Zen archery. Everyone is sitting quiet, like a pot simmering, and then suddenly *here's my chance* and words are said like swords clashing.

BTW, having trouble with "Heartless" from BCS. I can't read it without translating it into a Paul Kidby cartoon, and that feels WRONG!
