Virtual assistant

I posted on FB this morning: "I need an assistant. Just putting it out there, because the fact that I don't have an assistant is making it very difficult to get around to finding the time to hire an assistant."

Further to that, here is my job description for this role.

I've passed this on to my friend who would be amazing at this job! She's also currently unemployed (for the last 6 months) so it would also be an awesome "christmas present" to finally get another job, let alone having it be something she is super passionate about! Anyway, she's on the track now so I'm sure you'll be getting her application soon! I know you'll have lots of great applicants to choose from no matter what, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :)

I'd be interested but I already work for below minimum wage for my costuming and even your upper limit is less than minimum wage in Australia, where I live. Sounds like an interesting job though!

I'm sorry to hear that; my intention is not to underpay. You are very fortunate in Australia; that's about twice the minimum wage in the UK and US.

Incidentally, as the business owner, it looks as though I'm earning below minimum Australian wage too.

It's a bit low from the NZ perspective too - the minimum wage here currently converts to about $11.50US.
However, the minimum wage is still considered to be below a living wage, and the campaigners are trying to get it to what currently converts to $12.65US.

I think this is an excellent opportunity for my twin sister. She is looking for work at the moment and she has all and over all of the skills that are required for this position. Expect a resume from her today by the deadline. :-)
