it was just an idea, nobody is sure if it will actually work. i know it won't work. but it's always worth a shot i suppose. i mean, a "no-driving" day would most definitely be much more productive...but it would be really hard to make that happen. ppl have to drive to school and work and such, so there wouldn't be too many people willing to not drive for a day.

it makes me sort of irritated, stephanie, because this isnt the first time people with no lives come with negative intentions and comment in your journal, or whatever.
I actually care, and subsequently read your journal, but why would people who dont like you read your journal? do they have no lives?
I couldn't tell you. All I can get from it is that they must be really immature and in need of growing up. But that's not my problem...that's theirs. Thanks for your concern.
Interesting idea...honestly, the oil companies I don't think have very much to do with this current price hike. OPEC did raise their prices...even oil companies can't do anything about that.
Of course, this is coming from someone who thinks it's a good thing that gas prices are up...after all, it encourages us to start looking at alternate fuel sources. Oil won't be there forever; there are cheaper and more efficient ways to run our cars if we've got the motivation to find them. I wish people would start getting that message out of the price hikes and not keep focusing on yelling at oil companies.
