I'm interested in finding a few friends on LJ. My username is pryvatemind, so I like to keep most of my thoughts private. I sometimes want to use LJ to test out my writing skills. I want to write a romance book someday. Other days I use LJ to vent my frustrations. I would also like to ask you how to use some of the functions like writer's block.

To be clear, the low divorce rate reported for WM-BW couples isn't a stat. It
's survival and desperation bias.

Almost no WM-BW couples make it to marriage and when they do, the BW are desperate not to divorce the white man (black women show high desperation for white men in OKCupid study), so the divorce takes longer. Since desperate black women take longer to divorce, relative to other women who will divorce quickly, it only *seems* like BM-WM last long.

In reality WM-BW break up early and the ones that don't are driven by BW's desperation. Most WM-BW marriages will break up.
