I live in Vegas right now and all I could think of was cooling down in an ocean or river! There's nowhere to take a dip here, unless it's a pool. Pools on the Strip are nice but it's a whole production that'd I rather not deal with, it's not relaxing that's for sure. Anyway, I made this picture as a small comfort.

Oh man you don't even know how happy it makes me that you think the hair turned out well! I knew what I wanted, but actually making it happen was mostly me just letting the paint do what it wants.

Refreshing! That's a great word for that delicious blue and the way Sam's hair floats in the water. I love your paint handling, too. I tend to wash with a gazillion thin layers but that gorgeous, saturated color you get is so confident and luscious. And of course the boys are super cute! Great job!

"Delicious Blue" that would've been a better title! The water came out looking very tropical, I couldn't help it though, those blues are my favorite colors.

So it makes me so happy you like my watercolors! I was looking at your recent watercolor of Sam and I was totally in awe of your style! I don't have the brush control or the patience for that. My 'style' is a just me letting the paint do what it will. What y'all don't see are the many different versions of the same picture I have! Lol
