Everything aches and itches when he wakes up. Sam feels overheated, sore, trapped. Hot breath is ghosting over his neck and he turns slightly, albeit knowing exactly who's twisted around him like vines, hand pressed on his steadily beating heart to make sure it does exactly that.
His big brother can be a lot of things. Annoying. Irritating. An asshole, the bane of Sam's existence. But when they wake like this, after brutal hunts and impending loss, he can't exactly find himself to care. (Pre-Stanford)
