I really enjoyed this. Besides being a sucker for pretty much anything Edmund/Caspian, I really loved the way that you portrayed the fact that Edmund knew the end of the relationship was inevitable but he went ahead with it all the same.

I think the last sentence just about broke my heart though :(

I suppose it was quite angsty, and perhaps I should've written something about it in the warnings...? I hope it was a good sort of heartbreak though (lolwut?) and though it might be rude, I'm still quite glad it did because it shows that it evoked emotions (I hope), which is what I strive to do whenever writing.
