I personally do not think that religion has anything to do with sexual life of people. But one of my relationships were completely demolished by man's addiction to porn. I was absoblutely shocked to know what kind of damage it can make to male's attitude to sex and intimacy.
If you google sexual addiction, porn addiction or sexual anorexia - you may find lots of interesting and sad stories about broken marriages.
Same time I have never heard any happy story by anyone about how porn has made their life better.

BTW your immunity to porn is mainly due to your gender - pron normally has triggers for men.

But I personally do not think that it should be banned or controlled - because whatever government tries to control becomes a crime.
Moreover, religion has absolutely nothing to do with regulation of any field of life.
They claim to be about joy and love - so let it be just joy and love for those who want it.

Religious people often have more complexes about sex, for the reasons I stated in the post. For instance, those preaching against immorality in the U.S., are often caught in all kinds of deviant positions, cheating on wives, sleeping with prostitutes, etc. You can google it and see several examples of high profile preachers in the USA who were busted for such behavior. I'm sorry your relationship was damaged by porn, but in what way? Your lover compared you to porn actresses, or was just visually consumed by watching it on the laptop and ignored you? My immunity - it is due to overexposure, not gender. I'm a highly sexual person, and require a lot of stimulation. It is impossible to control or legislate "porn" because the term itself is ambiguous. What is "pornographic" to one person, is art or erotica to another.

I don't know him. Is he a politician trying to ban porn or lacy panties? :))

Yes he's very famous politician who is responsible for that anti-lbgt law here, also he's actively makes public actions with his followers and people. He tried to ban Madonna's concert here, then he went to her concert to have the real facts and after tried to make promotion company to pay the fine. He tries to convict gay clubs in breaking his law by telling that they propaganding gay sex to childeren.

Of course usual sex activities and such things aren't overlooked by him too.

Apart from all that he's actually a sick person that apparently is active gay himself or just very much latent one.

Ah, I see. Of course, I know about the propaganda law, but didn't know the person responsible for it. And what is the problem with Madonna? On what ground was he trying to ban her performance? Too erotic?

When porn star is yuong and needing an advertising, she poses as a very hot girl and tells about porn shooting something like "That's a lot of fun!". When she gets old and leaves pornbiz, she says differently. Now porn is infected by extreme. Obviously, many such extremal tricks can not be fun for most women. This is not a problem in developed countries, but in the third world, where women are dominated by men, viewing of such porn irreversibly leads to violent sexual experimentation.

There is so much shitty and amateur porn online, I don't know who watches it but apparently people do. Demand creates supply. So, where does Russia fall on this spectrum? Is it a developed country, or still third world, where women are dominated by men? I think it depends on who you ask. :)

Of course, it depends :) If a foreigner communicates with me, that person will inevitably come to the conclusion that Russia is inhabited by well-educated, wonderful, modest people. If a foreigner has been bullshitted by someone like Mr. Qi, his view of russians will be just the opposite :)

Mr. Qi isn't so bad. :) But, yes, he has archaic views about women. On this topic, we agree on nothing. Pity that such an intelligent man has not evolved past 1950 when it comes to gender roles.

Yes, I get paid to do it. It becomes very boring and monotonous after awhile, and I get tired of looking at tits. It's possible. :)

I guess the two sides you are describing, namely Porn (represented by its industry) and the ultra conservative, religious community (Mormons) on the other hand are just two extremes here. My standpoint is somewhere in between. Porn per se isn't bad. However, the commercialization and the proportions porn has reached today is beyond healthy. At least we have to protect minors and children better.

I agree! The Free Speech Coalition, which is a lobbying group for the porn industry, didn't object the bill. Their official statement on the proposed legislation mirrors my thoughts exactly "We should live in a society where sexuality is spoken about openly and not stigmatized. We should also work together to prevent non-adults from accessing adult material." It all sounds nice, but with the open access to the Internet, developing solutions to achieve the goals is challenging, if not impossible.

Stating pretty sentences like this is all they are going to do I'm sure (besides geared towards media money spending to organizations of abused women and/or HIV-infected ex gay porn actors of course)
