God Save the people!

I finished Maurice last night and it was pretty glorious. I still don't know why I liked it so much, but I just REALLY GOT it. E. M. Forster's own little ending note was also pretty amazing, talking about how he's only shown it to a few people and all, and how he originally had a totally different ending but it was "universally disliked." I opted not to take any AP exams because I knew I wouldn't care. I hear the AP tests are actually supposedly much harder than the actual college classes, but I think it depends on which test you are taking exactly.

For books, I recommend Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, if you have not read it. I also recommend anything and everything by Haruki Murakami, though he is definitely a pretty depressing author at times. (I also suggest reading through a few short stories before actually picking up a book. He is definitely, definitely not for everyone, and his short stories make a good litmus test.)

Huh. Yeah, I'm pretty much not caring at this point although technically I _could_ get some credit if I somehow pulled a 5 out of somewhere. o____@ I think your choice was probably a good one.

Ok, those sound interesting! thanks. I really have nothing to read right now, so... hopefully I'll be making a trip to the library sometime soon.

Oh man I've read pretty much all of Mr. Fry's books now! Even the one about poetry (and I don't write poetry)! I loove them. My favourite is Making History because it's so sweet, but I also ended up skipping a lot of the historical parts. O___@

ewwww, driving test! I def passed the question part by one point, probably because I waited 6mos between the class and the test. I was watching the right/wrong meter thing the whole time going "shit, shit, shit" They were the weirdest questions though, mainly about intersections and stopping distances. The actual driving was really easy though! My cop was really sweet, until I said I hadn't driven in months... And she was sarcastic! I love it when authority figures don't take themselves over-seriously.

dude, when did you take yours? because some of my friends didn't have to take the test test part again, just the driving test, and you apparently did have to take the computer test.

Ughhhhh I nearly failed the computer test when I took it for my permit too!!
