Woot! Punch that work IN THE FACE.

Normally I lurk in the shadows, but I couldn't help it. that AC English Preview? I could't even sit through the entire thing. It.. oh, it made my brain seizure. In a horribly awful sort of way that forced me to close the window before permanent damage settled in.

Just WOW.

I feel your pain. I'm not much of an elitist and I'm not one of those people who immediately watches subs over dubs (I vastly preferred the Utena dub, for instance), but there were just too many voices that sounded horrible for their characters, and some of the dialogue made me cringe.

But I'm looking on the bright side, too. I preferred Cloud's English voice. It was suitably young, a similar pitch, and it was nowhere near so nasal, which I hated about the Japanese voice. And the other voice I really loved... was Cid's. If you can, just skip that far into... I think it was Preview 4? And play his voice. It fucking rocks.

Ok, so I went back and watched the rest of them. Hmm. Who's doing Cloud's voice? I like it... kinda like how I enjoyed the KH version of his voice. xD

Cid's voice is cute. And Vincent's looks like there's quite the potential. Just the first few seconds of that one clip you linked nearly made me spit out my rink. It's just SO DIFFERENT.

I'd like to see it in English once all the way through, just to say that I have.

Me too, RLY. I don't even like game shows, but if Rufus hosted and the cast were the contestants every week, it'd be the best thing ever.
