Well, my vocabulary is nothing to marvel at, really. XD What Mary's been doing is she'll pick someone to do a sentence and have the rest of the class look up the words that we don't know, which works pretty well. It's incredibly satisfying to be able to do...

What did you think of the mug cake? Any brilliant thoughts on how to make it yummier?

Well, I suspect that the very fact that it's cooked in a microwave has a lot to do with the things I didn't like. Tough, dry texture and mediocre flavor can all be results of microwave cooking. I would suggest upping the amount of cocoa that is used to see if we can overcome the microwave's tendency to leech flavors. I didn't use chocolate chips or anything like that, but would definitely recommend doing so to give it some moisture, flavor, and variety of texture.

It was still very satisfying, though. Definitely what I was craving.
