in april, i am moving out to portland with my boyfriend. i read that the portland planned parenthood does essure; does anyone have any experience with this? i really want it done... how much does it cost? any one have difficulty getting it done there? i'm 22, so i wonder if age makes a difference...

My parents are good people. They instilled all sorts of decent beliefs and morals in me. One was that most every occassion deserves a thank you note.

Tomorrow's Oregonian (it's not online yet) has a profile of a remarkable man named Jim Lincoln.

Twice widowed, he lives in a retirement home in Eugene, Oregon, but several times a week he goes downtown for a Coke in a quiet pub, where he can meet people and talk to them.
