So, I gave Woolley her first cage clean out last night. She was a little freaked out by it, but took it like a little champ. I got to interact with her a little too and found that she doesn't mind being stroked all that much, which is a very good sign. She really is adorable <3 I can't believe anyone would throw her away (It said in her RSPCA notes that she was found abandoned in a box D:)

Sounds like she's living the good life! I'd love to see a picture of her cage, randomly, if you don't mind! I like big cages, hahaha.

Oh, I somehow misunderstood that! I thought it seemed a little odd. XD I used to have dwarf hamsters and I was like, "I never did bathe them...ever..." That's good that she's not too freaked out, though new experiences are always difficult.
That's a great cage! Very spacious, lots to do, and plenty of places to snuggle up to if she wants. Wonderful! Alternating the toys and set-up is a good idea.

But yeah, she wasn't as scared about being taken out of the cage and was surprised that she went into her ball almost straight away so I could transport her to a storage box to run around in while I did the cleaning.
Thanks! I did a lot of research into the best cages and such as I wanted the best for this hamster and any future ones I have. It was amazing to discover that the ones in pet stores are often way too small for them and that they really need a good length to run around in. No wonder my other hams bar-chewed. Same goes for wheels too, so I got a nice big one where she won't have to bend her back to run, as that can cause back problems. She loves that wheel and I hear her running in it every night :D
