So, after seeing origamigryphon's post about a shiny Torchic she hatched using the RNG method and after she told me that newer versions of the RNG reporter makes it easier to find out your SID, I decided to give it another go

After as much trouble one has to go through to get shinies in the first place, and the general oldness of DP at this point, I wouldn't feel bad at all about manipulating the game if I could figure that all out. :<

I've always wanted to try the RNG method, but I always thought the maths were too complex. Although, I DID once try the Masuda method, and although it worked, it's not the same as RNG.
