Irv had just had his trophy battleship sunk and retired off the field.

Ok I just spit tea. How classy of me. Thank you for your witticisms! I swear I could see you and Miranda smirking between the lines. How you manage to do sly humor and still infuse a nearly lyrical prose style to the drab is beyond me. Thank you for my read. punky_96's divine prompt shines in your capable hands. This was a bright spot in my day. ;)

*G* If you look at punky_96's prompt, I wasn't allowed to use the game, but I did promise that a nemesis of Miranda's would be involved. I could not imagine Jacqueline all befeathered with a large endowment... so I had to go with someone that I figured Irv might bring to an event. There was some mutterings about his attempts at overcompensating for certain... deficiencies. ;)

*On the floor...ded <- and I do mean DED*

That killed me. It's always nice to see that jelly-sucking midget being brought to his knees. Who better to kill his pride than you? ;)

*G* Well, I believe that Miranda would suggest that he would not have far to go from his knees. ;)

Miranda's sense of humour is dry, very dry. But oh so very delectable as well. :)

I loved this. The imagery of a deflating inhancement was hysterical...

;-) I had to do some reading up on water brassieres... very slippery things they could be. ;)

You sunk my battleship!

Oh wow! You deserve a very special prize for this! "Irv was predictable in his choices..."

I wonder if Miranda had Emily pay an extra tip to a certain member of that waitstaff... either before or after!

I love that you said Miranda's sense of humor is Dry :)

As always you have outdone yourself.

I think that there'd be the subtle acknowledgment a day after (which I think I will try to write about), but nothing too overt (like sending Emily over with a tip for the waitstaff)... :)
