I am very disappointed to learn this news. :( I had an opportunity to see Ms Paice in Curtains two summers ago and will look forward to her portrayal of Anne Egerman.

I keep praying that everyone STAYS wherever they need to be and I refuse to accept any more changes! (stomps feet) No one else! ;) Laura being there would have been the closest to having the LA Opera cast intact, but I have built myself a very small bridge and gotten over her announcement of illness. In turn, I'm hoping that she holds everything together for the final Gypsy performance. ;)

Well... I'd want ellixian to be able to revisit Gypsy with full complement of principals and all :)

I hope that she gets better soon. I know that I'm disappointed, but I also know that she's probably heaps more disappointed than I could ever be... so I wish her the best of health. :)

Bummer about Laura having to pull out. :( I guess the important thing is that she's all rested and ready for Gypsy's closing performance though. At least I'll get to see Laura in ONE show!
