I am on tenterhooks, and yet entirely unspoiled. I just rewatched "Devil's Trap" tonight, and I am totally convinced that Kripke is going to leave us with a horrible cliffhanger again, just because they know the show is being renewed. Still, a lot of good fic came out of that hiatus between seasons 1 and 2...

I read that the hiatus will not be as painful as I'd imagined; the CW is supposed to premiere their new stuff in early September. That is, if there is no actors strike:/

Season 3 best ep to watch? Bedime Stories. The brotherly moments in that killed me. Oh and the X-mas ep of course, but I've watched that one to death.

Some time back in January I subscribed to the friggin CW so I could watch the new episodes when they aired instead of waiting to download. (Shoulda just bought a DVR, but this is the only TV show I care about. It's for DAMN sure the only show I care about on the stupid CW. Plus I always wind up buying the DVDs anyway.)

Since January I've seen ONE episode the night it aired. Since the strike? None - zip, zero, nada.

But tonight was the magic night. Tonight was the ONE Thursday night my boys didn't have a baseball game scheduled. I was all set to soak in the marvelous season finale in all its disappointing asshattery glory. But guess what tonight is? My 18-year-old's last athletic banquet. Sonuvabitch.

I may go you one or two better tonight, Dragons. I'll be looking at my watch and jiggling, while simultaneously shooting evil mind rays at no less than eight different coaches to please hurry and SHUT THE FUCK UP with their excuses for why they had a losing season this year so we can all go

I'm hanging in there - just. Sorry to hear your flirty date is going to delay your viewing... wait, no. I'm not that sorry. :)

But let me tell you what SPN has done to me. I am planning to set my alarm for 5am so that I can leap out of bed and providing the gods are with me, the download links will be available. I shall download said episode which should be done by about 6am. I will then watch said episode so that I can start getting ready for work at my usual time of about 7am. Let me also point out that it is winter here, and at that time of morning about 6degreesC - no double glazing or central heating in SA! And all because I simply can't bear the thought of getting through the day, avoiding the internet at all costs, knowing everyone has seen it. Plus I'm going to see Chicago tomorrow night which means further delays. Can't do it.

On second thoughts, I'm sorry your viewing will be delayed.

Yeah, it's not like I'm gonna cancel my plans, but christ, I'm TEMPTED. Which really is naff, when you think about it. But... once I am out to dinner, I am relying on Army Dude and his general awesomeness to pull me from my SPN haze and remind me there is life beyond fandom.

I just hope he's quick about it, you know? *chuckles*
