Okay, I'm probably going to show my ignorance here, but I have no idea of the "truth" behind the mythology in this story; how much is completely made up, how much has been researched from genuine tales and lore, how much you just know. Either way though, I just had to add that I love it. In fact, its one of the best things about SPN fics (over and above the brothers), all these great myths and mysteries and yeah, supernatural goings on that you guys delve into and weave into your writing.
Dude. I am just WAITING for some fangirl who has a double major in Crowley/Mathers to blow the lid off this gig in GRAND FASHION. I have been, um, creative with the mythology behind King Solomon and his crazy demon-raising antics. It's all there, yes. But I has been twisty. Veeeeery twisty. *grimaces*

And you know what I like about this story? That it's totally unpredictable. Not once have I had the feeling yet that I've figured out what's gonna happen next. Keeps up the suspense. =) So, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat 'til chapter 13. But ya know, no pressure or anything. ;o)

It's unbelievable how hard it is to write about why I love this so much. Doesn't matter if I gulp it down too fast to really have it settle well, or reread it (the first 11 chapters) over again because I'm compelled to/have to in case there was something else I actually missed. When I knew you'd finished and we (the whole of spn fandom - no exaggeration) were all just waiting for the beta's, I got up at 2:00 a.m. on the off chance it would be up, plus I couldn't sleep worth shit tonight, so here I am now trying to figure out what or why it is that makes me love this so much. Of course I have to do it rather quietly so the rest of the sleeping house doesn't think I'm batshit (snoring dog does not count
